The world is moving more quickly to sustainable sources of energy than anyone predicted as governments, investors and industry prioritize de-carbonization.  The mining sector will play a critical role in supplying the materials essential to achieving a vigorous economy in a carbon neutral world.  While copper gets the most attention in the energy transition ecosystem other minerals including nickel, cobalt, lithium and boron are equally important.  The Asia Mining Club is pleased to present our next event: Energy Transition and the Mining Sector: A Discussion on Battery Metals and New Energy Materials with some of the sectors leading experts on energy transition and the role of the mining sector.  Please join us on September 29th at 12 noon Hong Kong time to listen to a panel consisting of Dr. George Fang – Vice Chairman of Huayou Cobalt, Henri Tausch – CEO of American Pacific Borates, Steve McIntosh – EMR Capital and Warren Gilman – Chairman and CEO of Queen’s Road Capital Investment Ltd. discuss this important topic.
